Christmas Cards?

Published by andeecate at 9:39 pm under Uncategorized

It’s October. Only October. But I am sure, like many other stampers, I am in holiday mode for card making. I am already starting to “test” ideas, experiment with color and decide on a design. I am even in the process of creating a digi-invite for an open house we are having in December.

The reason being for my early planning stems from the fact that I am only going to have one, yes, ONE, free weekend from now until January 11th! I am none too happy about it either. But this is life!

In my previous post, I mentioned that I have received an order from A Muse this week. I began messing around with my stuff and came up with a few designs. Part of my order was the new clear stamp mini sets. They are fabulous and produce a nice crisp image.

The new 4 bar note cards are great. The colors are just beautiful. For this design, I used the Maderia card collection in blue. I stamped the Holiday House on SU! Shimmer white and layered that on some Bazzill bling paper I had. The ribbon is the white taffeta from SU!. The sentiment is from the new clear set, Holiday Greetings. It is such a great set. I love all the phrases!! For the “snow” I used liquid applique and heated it up with the heat gun to make it puffy. I colored the image in with Prisma markers.

I hope your Saturday was as nice as the one here in Hershey- a cool, sunny 63 degrees. It was wonderful! Don’t forget to comment on the blog candy post for your chance to win! Comment now and comment often for your chance to win!
