The sandy life
I am currently hanging out in the little town of Dewey Beach, DE. If you remember correctly, I blogged from down here around Easter when Mr. LOL and I were staying at my parents place. I am down here again with Mom, Kelly, her kids and the Bostons. So fun!
Check these pics out. Aren’t they the cutest babies ever??? Grace is a huge fan of the sun and surf. Tinker… not so much. She is afraid of everything.
I got to make a fun card with my Crab & Co. set and an A Muse sentiment today. This is for the A Muse Challenge 7, Gleaming Glitter. I usedsome watercolor paper for the main image on this card. Mr. Crab is stamped in Palette Noir and is colored with an aqua painter and WCW crayons. The sand is covered in Diamond Stickles for that “sparkley sand” look. I cut out and popped up his party hat. I also added some “googley” eyes for fun! The sentiment is stamped in Noir too. The layer is Pumpkin Pie and the base is real red.
I was really happy with the grainy look the Stickles actually gave the sand.
We are having a wonderful time here at the beach. I hope the weather holds up for tomorrow. We had some sever thunderstorms today. I do like a rainy day here at our place. The roof lets in all that wonderful “pitter-patter” from the rain. Love that.

I’m so jealous. I love the beach.
That is the cutest card with that crab, ever. The coloring is perfect! The sand is grainy and sparkly; I love the bday hat. Great job!
This is fabulous! And spicy!
OOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo!!! I love our crabby card!!! The colors are awesome as well as the sparkles.
Ah to be at the beach, I can’t complain much I live in South Florida, but would love quiet little beaches, and love that card you made, and his eyes are great.
