Easter is also the ONLY holiday that I don't have to cook! Each year we carrivan to my sister's house 3 hrs. away and have a fun time at her house. She has a big egg hunt for my 3 grandchildren & always makes a big batch of bubbles for them to play with. Her house is just beautiful & it's so much fun to see all of her fancy decorations. I wish I could say the same..lol. I am hosting Easter for my side of the family on Good Friday. This will be my first time cooking a turkey so it should be interesting! lol.. and then Saturday we'll be going to my in-laws for an Easter dinner too. That is yummy candy, indeed. For Easter, my husband and I get up WAY, WAY too early and shuttle ourselves downtown to church where we play in the handbell choir for THREE jam-packed-full church services. We usually drag ourselves home afterwards, take a VERY long nap, decide we really don't have the energy to cook after all, and pick some restaurant to go out and eat at that we think won't have long lines...Mexican usually works out alright :-) Oooh. That is yummy candy, indeed.
